This page explains how AfroVibe users can request account deletion and associated data deletion without needing hidden support steps.

How to request deletion

  • If you can access your account, use the account deletion option in settings where available.
  • If you cannot access your account, send a request through Contact Us using the subject Data Deletion Request.
  • Include the email tied to the account and any details needed to locate the profile safely.

What deletion generally covers

  • Removal or deactivation of the visible dating profile and account access.
  • Deletion of user-facing profile content and account-linked information, subject to technical and legal limits.
  • Handling of backups and downstream systems within a reasonable operational timeframe.

What may be retained

AfroVibe may retain limited data needed for fraud prevention, abuse investigations, legal compliance, chargebacks, taxes, security logging, or enforcement of community safety rules. This is especially relevant where an account was reported for harassment, scams, or fake-profile activity.

Processing timing

We aim to review deletion requests within a reasonable period after identity and account ownership checks are complete. Complex safety or payment issues can require additional review before final deletion is confirmed.
